Randall Baptist Church

Prayer Gathering

Regularly scheduled prayer groups meet on:

  • Sundays at 8:30 AM (8 AM in July & August)
  • Tuesdays at 7 AM
  • Wednesdays at 7 PM
  • Saturdays at 8 AM

You are welcome to join any of these groups at any time. Occasionally, the Sunday evening service is dedicated entirely to prayer.

What is prayer? It is fellowship and communion with God, direct access to His very presence. Prayer is an integral part of an on-going relationship with God, and it is worship of God. Prayer is also life-sustaining - like breathing the air. If you stop praying, your spiritual life will wither. Prayer is crucial for all people.

Prayer is also crucial for the church. People who love God are to be praying people, praying individually and collectively, praying for each other and for those outside the church, praying for God’s will to be done, and praying for the power and spiritual strength to accomplish the tasks set before us.

Randall Baptist seeks to be a praying church. To that end, there are regularly scheduled times of corporate prayer, regular prayer events, special times of prayer emphasis, and constant teaching on both the how-to and the need for prayer. Randall also has Prayer Coordinators, who presently are Ken and Pat Pohle, their function is to keep the importance of prayer before the church, plan and coordinate the various prayer events and efforts, and work with the pastoral staff on matters relating to prayer.
