DivorceCare is a support group ministry program designed for those recovering from divorce or separation.  The goal of the program is to provide a loving environment for those working through the same hurt and loss, a place where people can find acceptance without condemnation, and help in beginning to heal.  The 13 week program, led by a facilitator or a team of two facilitators, features videotaped sessions taught by experts in the field.  The sessions include various topics such as “What’s Happening to Me?”, “The Road to Healing,” “Facing Your Anger,” “Facing Your Depression,” “Facing Your Loneliness,” “New Relationships,” “Financial Survival,” “KidCare,” “Moving On and Growing Closer to God” and several others.  Using workbooks, the facilitator leads in a short Bible study and then in a discussion of various questions which follow up on the video for the week.  Each session is concluded with a meaningful prayer time.  Participants can expect healing and growth.  Each Session lasts approximately 2 hours, and the cost for each participant is $15.00.

The DivorceCare program is held at Randall Baptist Church when interest and demand occasion the need to run a series.  The minimum number necessary to run a group is 6 individuals.  If you are interested in participating in a new group, please call the church office (716-634-9800).  If the program is not scheduled to be run at Randall in the near future, several other churches in the area also run the DivorceCare program and can be contacted directly.  DivorceCare is a ministry of Church Initiative, and the names and locations of the other area churches using the program can be found by going to the DivorceCare website at www.divorcecare.com.
