Children's Church
In addition to Bible School, children in Grades Kindergarten-6 have their own program and curricula during Sunday morning worship services. Children in Grades K-6 attend the beginning of the Sunday morning worship service with the adults, and are dismissed to the Junior Department classroom located on the lower level part of the way through the service for Children's Church.
Age-appropriate curricula is chosen and taught by adult Christians, with all lessons firmly rooted in Biblical principles. Teens often serve as helpers in Children’s Church, which benefits both their younger charges and their own development as leaders. In addition to Bible lessons, singing, arts & crafts, and games or puzzles related to the lesson are integral parts of Children's Church.
During the summer months, children in Grades Kindergarten-6 attend the Sunday morning worship service; there is no summer Children's Church for these grades.
Children in the Toddler (ages 2-3) and LifeStart (ages 4-5) programs are not expected to attend Sunday morning worship services with the adults. Adult and teen volunteers provide Bible stories, games, music, crafts, and snacks for these youngsters during the worship service year-round.
