We want you to be able to experience inspiring worship, Biblical teaching, friendly people, and the uplifting environment that is Randall Baptist Church.  And we know that your first time at a church – any church – brings up some questions.
How do I get there?

What should I wear?

What’s available for my kids?

What should I expect during the service?

Here’s a preview of a typical Sunday.

When you arrive at Randall, you’ll be ushered through the front doors by friendly greeters, who will be happy to guide you to Bible school classes, child care, and the sanctuary.  A short trip up the stairs and you’ll find yourself in the foyer where during the school year hot coffee, hot chocolate, and tea are available.  We hope you’ll grab a cup, and meet our friendly hosts.  When you hear music floating out of the sanctuary doors, it’s time to move inside for worship.

What should I wear?

Just like the worship music at Randall varies, so do the wardrobes.  You’ll see dresses, ties, skirts, suits, khakis, polo shirts, and the occasional pair of jeans here.  We do believe in presenting ourselves as best we can before God, but we also know that the most important preparation we can make is opening our hearts to Jesus.  Come as you are.

What’s available for my kids?

Families with kids of all ages are welcome here.  From birth through Kindergarten, kids spend Sunday mornings (during both the Bible school and Worship hours) in our Education Wing under the care & instruction of qualified, screened volunteers.  Elementary school aged kids are divided into 1-3 and 4-6 grade groups for Bible school.  They join their parents in the sanctuary for the beginning of worship, and then are released before the message to go downstairs for Children’s Church.  Junior and Senior High School students can attend Bible school classes designed just for them and then participate in the entire worship service in the sanctuary.

Please click on the “Child Care” and “Children’s Church” links at left for more information.

What should I expect during the service?

Our worship services provide music of great variety, including hymns and worship songs, the presenting of God’s word through multiple means, drama, testimony, times of prayer, an offering, and a message that offers hope and life-transforming truth.  Once a month, we remember Jesus' death and resurrection by celebrating Communion.  Our services are flexible and you may find one of our many missionaries speaking during Mission Emphasis times, or we might be focusing on how we can become better followers of Jesus during Discipleship Emphasis.  Christmas and Easter are special occasions of worship and celebration.

In short, you should expect to find a community of people who are committed to worshiping and serving God in all that we do – including welcoming you and your family as warmly as possible.
